Four Seasons Lanai invites applications for a NOBU LĀNA‘I Food Runner/Dining Assistant. You will deliver dishes, maintain a pristine dining room, and support both kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.

• Deliver food promptly to tables with accuracy and courteous guest interaction.

• Assist with opening/closing duties, including setup and restocking.
• Support dining room setup and layout to optimize service.

Drawing upon Chef Matsuhisa's classical training as a sushi chef in Tokyo, his life abroad in South America and his travels around the world, his culinary style blends classical techniques with exotic global flavors. NOBU LĀNA‘ I showcases signature new-style Japanese cuisine, as well as new creations infusing local ingredients. Sip a signature cocktail in the lounge, take a seat at the sushi bar or enjoy dinner at one of the outdoor tables. WHAT YOU’LL DO

A Food Runner/Dining Assistant supports both kitchen and front-of-house operations by delivering food to guests and maintaining a clean, organizeddining area. This role ensures efficient service and a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Deliver food promptly to correct tables and seats, ensuring accuracy, proper presentation, temperature, and awareness of modifications or allergens while providing friendly, professional guest interaction

• Maintain dining room cleanliness by clearing and resetting tables, sanitizing surfaces, replenishing water, napkins, and condiments, and keeping service areas organized and free of debris

• Support service flow by coordinating dishes, assisting with course setup, transporting dirty items to dish areas, and helping team members during busy periods

• Complete opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies, preparing beverages (coffee, tea, non-alcoholic), polishing glassware and silverware, and setting up/breaking down stations

• Assist with dining room setup and layout, including arranging tables and chairs, to ensure efficient service and an optimal guest experience

WHAT TOBRING

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States

• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required.

• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance cardand Hawaii Food Handler’s Card

• Maui Liquor Card Preferred, but not required

• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts

• Maintains a guest – focused mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills, effectively upsells to enhance the guest experience, and demonstrates strong attention to detail while keeping a clean, organized, and well – stocked workspace
