Job summary

Miller Motor Company in Centre Hall, PA, is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join a busy independent repair shop. The role offers $35–$40/hour with a guaranteed 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday, no weekends, and a focus on quality work.

You will diagnose electrical and drivability issues, perform engine repairs, inspect vehicles, complete DVI, and collaborate with the parts team and Shop Manager to keep workflow efficient. ASE certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent professional automotive technician experience.
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, drivability, and engine-repair skills.
• Current Pennsylvania Inspection License.
• Current Pennsylvania Emissions License.
• Experience servicing multiple vehicle makes.
• Independent repair shop experience; ASE certifications preferred.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical and drivability concerns.
• Perform engine repairs and general automotive service.
• Inspect vehicles and identify needed repairs.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI).
• Communicate findings with the Service Advisor.
• Work with the parts team and Shop Manager to maintain efficient workflow.
• Complete quality repairs across multiple vehicle makes and models.
