Job summary

Miller Motor Company in Centre Hall, PA is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our busy independent repair shop. This Monday–Friday role offers a flexible hybrid pay structure with pay of $20–$30/hour, and a path to develop diagnostic skills using modern equipment.

You will diagnose drivability concerns, perform general repairs and inspections, and work with Domestic, European, and Asian vehicles. Onsite Carquest support and a experienced Shop Manager aid daily workflow.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of recent professional automotive technician experience.
• Pennsylvania Inspection and Emissions Licenses required.
• Experience servicing Domestic, European, and Asian vehicles.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Independent repair shop experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general automotive repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Complete vehicle inspections using Tekmetric Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI).
• Diagnose drivability concerns and assist with electrical diagnostics.
• Perform brake, steering, suspension, and engine repairs.
• Service Domestic, European, Asian, and light fleet vehicles.
• Use Autel and Snap-on diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot vehicle concerns.
• Collaborate with the Service Advisor, parts department, and Shop Manager to maintain efficient workflow.

Miller Motor Company is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Centre Hall, PA. This Monday–Friday position offers $20–$30/hour through a flexible hybrid pay structure. Technicians work in a busy independent repair shop with onsite Carquest parts support, an experienced A-Level Shop Manager, and access to modern diagnostic equipment. The shop services Domestic, European, Asian, and light fleet vehicles in a clean, organized facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general automotive repairs and preventive maintenance
• Complete vehicle inspections using Tekmetric Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI)
• Diagnose drivability concerns and assist with electrical diagnostics
• Perform brake, steering, suspension, and engine repairs
