Job summary

Miller Motor Company in Centre Hall, PA is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and service a variety of domestic, European, Asian and light‑fleet vehicles. The role offers $35–$40 per hour with a guaranteed 30 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and no weekend work.

You will perform engine repairs, electrical diagnostics, DVI inspections, and collaborate with the service advisor, parts team, and shop manager to keep workflow efficient.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent professional automotive technician experience.
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, drivability, and engine-repair skills.
• Current Pennsylvania Inspection License required.
• Current Pennsylvania Emissions License required.
• Experience servicing multiple vehicle makes.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a team.
• Independent repair shop experience and ASE Certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical and drivability concerns
• Perform engine repairs and general automotive service
• Inspect vehicles and identify needed repairs
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI)
• Communicate findings with the Service Advisor
• Work with the parts team and Shop Manager to maintain efficient workflow
• Complete quality repairs across multiple vehicle makes and models
