Job summary

Atlantic Vision Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care across preop, intraoperative, and postoperative settings within a surgical center. The RN will supervise staff, ensure adherence to nursing standards, and maintain patient safety while documenting care and communicating with surgeons and anesthesia teams.

The role requires current RN licensure, BCLS certification, and a strong commitment to HIPAA, empathy, and teamwork. ACLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the state of practice.
• BCLS certification must be current.
• ACLS certification preferred or equivalent knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status across preop, OR, and post-op areas and continuously thereafter.
• Provide safe, therapeutic nursing care per the nursing process and document responses.
• Coordinate care and communicate with surgeons, anesthesia, and staff.
• Ensure timely and organized delivery of patient care and readiness for discharge.
• Educate patients and families and assess learning needs.
