Job summary

Emerald Nursing & Rehab Legacy Pointe is seeking a No Frill Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Nursing team in Omaha, NE. The PRN role requires a minimum of one shift per week, with 6a-6p and 6p-6a options, delivering high-quality, compassionate care to residents.

You will assess patient needs, provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and therapists to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in NE or multi-state.
• Graduate from an accredited LPN/LVN program.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification; additional state requirements may apply.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work with a diverse healthcare team.
• Physical ability to lift/move patients and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medications, wound care, and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor vital signs, document progress, and report changes to Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing.
• Assist in development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation and communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team.
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and infection control/safety protocols.
• Provide emotional support and education to residents and families about care plans and health conditions.
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, and therapists to deliver coordinated care.

Qualifications:
