Job summary

WEG is seeking a Service Support Specialist I to assist with post‑sales operations, warranty claims, and customer inquiries. You will handle inbound requests, verify claim accuracy, and collaborate with the Service Engineering team to resolve issues quickly and effectively.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), 2+ years of related experience, and proficiency with SharePoint, MS Teams, Windows, and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Provide after‑sale support to customers via daily requests (phone and email).
• Take ownership of customer issues throughout resolution, ensuring satisfaction.
• Respond to warranty and service inquiries with accurate information.
• Provide technical documentation and warranty eligibility details.
• Manage incoming calls and emails from general and personal inboxes.
• Analyze warranty claim data and request information as needed.
• Process and submit service complaints for the Service Engineering team.
• Verify NF warranty claims and ensure accurate information for a positive experience.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve complaints.
• Provide status updates on open warranty claims to customers and shops.
• Process reimbursements (credits/replacements) per warranty terms.
• Train new employees on team processes.
• Collaborate with other branches on quality data and reimbursements.
• Support projects to streamline Service Department processes.
