Job summary

Goodyear in Joliet, IL is seeking an Entry Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in one of our Auto Service centers by learning how to perform basic automotive services while delivering outstanding service. Training is provided and prior experience is not required.

You will learn tire mounting/balancing, oil changes, and other preventative maintenance tasks while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• No prior automotive experience required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform basic automotive services such as mounting and balancing tires and oil changes.
• Provide excellent guest service and communicate clearly with customers.
• Assist senior technicians and maintain safety and cleanliness in the shop.
• Support tire and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Demonstrate a commitment to following safety policies and procedures.
