Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is hiring Plastic Surgeons in Stockton, CA to work as wound care physicians and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area. This role offers a no-call Monday–Friday schedule with either part-time or full-time options, providing a steady, reliable income and freedom from running a private practice.

Surgeons apply their wound expertise to debridement, advanced dressings, and collaborative care, with per-patient and per-procedure pay plus quarterly

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds, including pressure injuries.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, following patients through healing.
