Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking an Acute Care Surgeon in Washington, DC to work as a wound care physician and lead initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers a no-call Monday-Friday schedule, enabling time for family and life outside medicine.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice or eligibility to obtain one.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Collaborate with wound care teams in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
• Provide clinical autonomy outside the hospital environment.
