Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Jackson, MS is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule with the option of part-time or full-time employment.

You will utilize Internal Medicine expertise to treat chronic wounds, perform bedside procedures with training provided, and collaboratively manage patient care in a post-acute setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practicing state (or eligibility).
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient internal medicine and wound care in SNF and community settings.
• Perform surgical debridement and bedside procedures with training provided.
• Manage chronic wounds and associated underlying conditions to optimize healing.
• Collaborate with skilled nursing facilities for coordinated patient care.
