Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a General Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities. Enjoy a no-call, Monday–Friday schedule with options for part-time or full-time work, while maintaining your surgical skills through bedside procedures and debridement.

You will evaluate chronic wounds, apply advanced dressings, and collaborate with post-acute care teams to drive patient healing. MD or DO with an unrestricted license required; training provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one
• Open background welcomed; comprehensive wound care training provided

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings
