Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Albuquerque, NM is seeking General Surgeons to lead wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities. This full/part-time role emphasizes performing wound-related surgeries and bedside procedures with clinical autonomy.

The position offers a no-call lifestyle, preserving evenings and weekends for personal time, while maintaining surgical skills. Training is provided; licensure requirements must be met.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Open background welcome; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and bedside debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing.
