Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a General Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. Flexible schedule: full-time or part-time, with a no-call lifestyle and clinical autonomy.

MD or DO required; PA license or eligibility to obtain is expected. Salary ranges from $200,000–$300,000 per year for full-time, with scalable compensation for performance bonuses and per-procedure pay.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background: no previous wound care experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and bedside debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing.
