Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Tucson, AZ is seeking Bariatric Surgeons to serve as wound care physicians and lead initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area.

We offer a true Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or pagers, allowing your evenings and weekends to belong to you. You’ll keep surgical skills with bedside procedures while enjoying a sustainable career and supportive documentation tools.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one).
• DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open Background: We welcome Bariatric Surgeons and surgeons of all backgrounds; wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing
