Skilled Wound Care in Knoxville, TN is seeking an Acute Care Surgeon to steer wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities. This no-call, mostly Monday–Friday role lets you maintain your surgical skills with bedside procedures while avoiding regular trauma shifts.

As an independent contractor-leaning position, you’ll evaluate and treat chronic and complex wounds, collaborate with post-acute teams, and benefit from flexible scheduling and a focus on work–life balance.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• Wound care training provided.
• Independent contractor-like pay with bonuses.

Responsabilités

• Lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities.
• Perform bedside debridement and minor procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing wounds.
