Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Memphis, TN is seeking physicians to lead wound care initiatives across skilled nursing facilities. This no-call role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with the flexibility to work part-time alongside other commitments.

The position emphasizes hands-on procedures, clinical autonomy, and patient-centered healing, with comprehensive wound care training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practicing state.
• DEA license or eligibility.
• Open background; not required to have prior wound care experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds.
• Use advanced dressings and specialized wound care protocols.
• Collaborate with teams in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings to follow patients through healing.
