Job summary

Kansas City National Security Campus in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking an entry-level technician to perform basic technical tasks on assigned projects, including testing, troubleshooting and documenting results. You will work under supervision and learn Honeywell Operating Systems and MOS while contributing to low volume/high-mix production.

Travel up to 5% may be required; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DOE security clearance are needed to support our national security mission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• On-site work as directed by management.
• Regular and reliable attendance is essential.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Reads, understands, and follows work procedures to accurately record results.
• Learns from Project Leads/Subject Matter Experts while demonstrating technical aptitude.
• Uses equipment, techniques, and tools necessary to complete tasks.
• Participates in teamwork related activities without expectation to demonstrate leadership.
• Develops skills in reading and understanding basic documentation and drawings defining the work.
• Performs work under close supervision and learns Honeywell Operating Systems (HOS) and Management Operating Systems (MOS).
