Kansas City National Security Campus in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking an entry-level technician to perform basic technical tasks on assigned projects, including testing, troubleshooting and documenting results. You will work under supervision and learn Honeywell Operating Systems and MOS while contributing to low volume/high-mix production.
Travel up to 5% may be required; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DOE security clearance are needed to support our national security mission.

Entry level position performing basic technical functions on assigned projects. Involves activities such as testing, troubleshooting, following procedures, and recording results. Further activity includes repairing modules and/or equipment and supporting production requirements for low volume/high mix of products. Works in accordance with workmanship standards (mechanical and/or electronic) general objectives, improving and refining devices and methods, as necessary. Typically works with a Lead/Subject Matter Experts and direct supervisors.

We are required by the Department of Energy (DOE) to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review, including checks of references, credit, law enforcement records and employment/education history. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Dual citizenship may affect clearance eligibility.
