Job summary

Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC) seeks an experienced NMO Technician to advance testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and refurbishing across subsystems. This role supports engineering, prototypes, development, and production for low-volume/high-mix electronic, mechanical, or software products while maintaining high workmanship standards.

The position requires demonstrating advanced technical aptitude, teamwork, and the ability to work on-site with occasional travel, and may require

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years in a related technical role with formal training or military equivalent.
• Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Ability to work on-site as directed by management.
• Regular and reliable attendance is essential.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates advanced level experience across many aspects of the field.
• Demonstrates unique electrical/mechanical skills and abilities.
• Reads, understands, and follows work procedures to record results.
• Learns from project leads and SMEs while showing technical aptitude.
• Uses equipment, techniques, and tools to complete tasks.
• Navigate FM&T portal or other shared information to locate key docs when required.
• Engage with FM&T customers and represent the company positively.
• Understands Honeywell OS and MOS core elements.
• Work self-directed or in teams, prioritizing business needs.
• Exhibits informal leadership and mentorship within teams.
• Assist engineers and other technicians with tasks.
