Job summary

INNOVIM in Colorado Springs seeks a NMAC Systems Administrator to support NORAD's ITW/AA and NISSC 3. The role involves analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex system, hardware, and networking issues in high-pressure environments.

The candidate will install and configure software and hardware, prepare incident reports, and provide expert support to government and contractor users. A Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and DoD IAT Level II+ are required, with 24/7 Panama-schedule

Qualifications

• Must have 1.5 years of directly related experience.
• Must have at least 4 years of general work history.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems (OS) and associated hardware.
• Experience with Windows System Administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Virtualization.
• Experience with Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies.
• Must have a current DoD IAT Level II or higher (Security + (CE)).
• Must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system hardware, software, peripheral, and networking problems in stressful situations.
• Explain technical concepts to inexperienced users.
• Optimize, fine-tune, and monitor operating system software and hardware.
• Install and configure software and hardware.
• Create Incident Reports on system issues and performing system data collection.
• Perform and provide server, workstation, and application expertise to government, civilian and contractor users.
• Provide support to other work centers and test community.
• Travel to off-site location with the supported community user.
• Escort and provide support to engineers and maintenance personnel.
• Coordinate with other Mission Assurance Centers.
• Order replacement of new hardware and software including warranty claims.
• Other duties as assigned.
