Job summary

Innovative Technology Partnerships (ITP), a Cogent Security Company, seeks an on-site Network and Computer Systems Administrator to support NAVAIR PMA-290 MOSS at ITF, NAS Patuxent River, MD. The SA will maintain, operate, and configure GSSs for ITF and deployable squadrons, manage media lifecycle, and serve as liaison between vendors, engineering, Cybersecurity, and squadrons.

The role requires Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, DoD 8570/8140 IAT II, and hands-on experience with Linux,

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: BS + 3 yrs, AA + 5 yrs, or HS/GED + 7 yrs in network engineering / systems administration.
• Security Clearance: Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility; U.S. Citizenship required.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT II (e.g., Security+ CE) at start, plus Linux/Windows credential.
• 3+ years in tactical networking and Cybersecurity/RMF compliance; hands-on Linux/Windows, Cisco IOS, VMware ESXi, UCS.
• Media & sanitization: experience with disk imaging, hash verification (SHA-256), and NIST SP 800-88 Rev. 1 sanitization standards.
• On-site work NAS Patuxent River; ability to lift and transport equipment up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ground Support Station Administration: lead GSS SA; OS rebuilds, patching, accounts, DISA STIGs.
• CM & Drive Action Queue: manage baseline ingestion and drive sets for operational squadrons.
• Duplication, Verification & Sanitization: operate duplicators, 100% SHA-256 verification, NIST 800-88 sanitization per ITF SOPs.
• Field Deployment & Vendor Support: liaison for software deliveries, site checkouts, and training.
• Documentation & Lab Operations: write PSOPs and checklists; maintain lab turnaround benchmarks.
• Adaptability: perform other duties as assigned; adapt to evolving program priorities.
