Job summary
Dewberry is seeking multiple Resident Engineers to lead NJDOT projects in New Jersey. Candidates must have prior Resident Engineer and Site Manager experience on NJDOT projects and NICET IV Certification in Transportation/Highway and Bridge Construction or equivalent.
The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, and the capability to perform complex quantity and engineering computations. Outdoor work and driving may be required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of prior construction inspection experience on NJDOT, NJTA or other Transportation agency projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering or related field.
- Must possess NICET IV Certification in Transportation/Highway and Bridge Construction or equivalent.
- 1 year of NJDOT SiteManager experience.
- 1 year of NJDOT Resident Engineer experience.
- Excellent communications skills; ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
