Job summary

Dewberry is seeking multiple Road and Bridge Construction Inspectors to work on NJDOT projects in New Jersey. Ideal candidates have NJDOT inspection experience and may possess NICET II, III or IV or equivalent certifications, plus strong reading of plans and specs.

We require excellent communication, ability to perform complex quantity and engineering computations, and the stamina to work outdoors in all weather. A valid driver’s license and clean record are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior road and/or bridge construction inspection experience.
• Excellent communications skills and ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and terrains.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Construction office and project administration.
• Document management and electronic processing of field reports, technical data, and meetings.
• Prepare meeting agendas/minutes and process RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Coordinate field activities with CM project managers and assist with invoicing.
