Job summary

Alexion is seeking an experienced field-based pharmaceutical sales professional to lead education on NF1 PN and Rare Disease product information for health care professionals in regional hospitals and centers of excellence in a defined territory.

You will drive sales within institutions, build long-term relationships, and deliver clinical presentations while maintaining high-level clinical dialogue with stakeholders across hospital service areas.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience with institutions.
• Experience selling to hospitals, IDNs and academic centers preferred.
• Strong clinical, technical and scientific knowledge for high-level dialogue.

Responsibilities

• Deliver education on disease state and Rare Disease products to HCPs.
• Achieve sales objectives within the defined geographic territory.
• Develop account plans reflecting local market forces.
• Maintain relationships with Key Customers and hospital networks.
• Lead clinical presentations and engage physicians and staff.
• Travel within territory, including overnight travel, to meet customers.
