Job summary

ESFM is hiring a Boiler Maintenance Tech for a full-time on-site role at Mondelez, East Hanover, NJ. You will operate, repair, and maintain boilers and related systems, reading blueprints and ensuring safe operation. A NJ Boiler License is required, with 2 years of relevant maintenance experience.

The position offers full-time schedule, benefits, and an hourly pay range of $30.00–$37.00. Applicants must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and nights as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Technician in a similar sized institution.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Apprentice card from the State in plumbing, electrical, HVAC or relevant trade.

Responsibilities

• Updates work statuses and documents tasks in CMMS.
• Monitors and maintains boilers.
• Inspects fluids, water, gas inside boilers and related equipment and adjusts fluids as needed.
• Repairs boiler machinery such as piping and valves.
• Replaces boiler parts that are defective.
• Records daily readings.
• Adjusts equipment to keep boiler system safe.
• Maintains cleanliness of boiler rooms and related facilities.
• Reads blueprints.
