Job summary

ESFM is seeking a full-time Mechanic I in Clark, NJ to operate and maintain HVAC systems, boilers, and related equipment. The role involves reading meters, diagnosing issues, and performing repairs to ensure reliable operation at client sites.

The ideal candidate has mechanical inclination, is willing to train, and holds Type I Refrigeration Certification with a valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

Operates and maintains HVAC systems, boilers, generators and steam equipment.
Reads meters and gauges to verify operating conditions.
Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs.
Inspects and replaces worn/defective parts; tests machine operation after repair.
Manages inventory and orders parts; ships/receives equipment.
Sets up and operates mechanical equipment and small tools for repairs.
Maintains a clean, safe work environment.
