Taylor Management Company in Springfield, New Jersey seeks a Maintenance Technician/Boiler Operator to perform daily maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the community’s buildings, grounds, and mechanical systems. This hands-on role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently for residents’ comfort.

Requirements include a Black Seal Boiler Operator License, 2+ years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and a valid NJ driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Black Seal Boiler Operator License required.
• Minimum of 2 years of facilities or building maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license.
• Working knowledge of building maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain the community boiler system during the heating season.
• Perform general building maintenance and repairs.
• Complete light plumbing and electrical repairs, including changing fixtures, smoke detectors, and bleeding radiators.
• Perform basic carpentry and painting.
• Maintain common areas, offices, and grounds in a clean and safe condition.
• Assist with seasonal maintenance, including supplemental snow and ice control.
• Safely use ladders and perform work at heights when required.
• Lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
