Mondelez facility in East Hanover, NJ is seeking a Full‑time Boiler Maintenance Technician to operate, repair, and maintain boilers, turbines, pumps, and related systems. You will document tasks in CMMS on a mobile device and monitor boiler performance.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, an apprentice card in plumbing/electrical/HVAC, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and work varying shifts, including nights or weekends when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Technician in a similar-sized institution.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Apprentice card from the State in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or related trade.
• General understanding of electro-mechanical equipment.
• Rudimentary ability to use hand-operated construction equipment.
• Physical ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds; to kneel, bend, and perform strenuous labor for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Update work statuses and document tasks completed in the CMMS using a mobile device.
• Monitor and maintain boilers.
• Inspect fluids, water, gas, etc., inside boilers and related equipment; adjust as necessary to ensure proper operation.
• Repair boiler machinery, including piping and valves.
• Replace defective boiler parts.
• Record daily readings.
• Adjust equipment to maintain safe functioning of the boiler system.
• Maintain cleanliness of boiler rooms and related facilities.
• Read blueprints.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
