Qualifications

• Strong experience in medical device manufacturing and process development.
• Hands-on metals manufacturing and process engineering experience.
• Direct experience with Nitinol manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with cardiovascular, stent, orthopedic, or neurovascular devices is desirable.
• Experience supporting new product development or pre-commercial manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and process optimization skills.
• Experience with process data analysis and engineering/software tools.
• Ability to work independently in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support new product development and pre-commercial manufacturing activities for Nitinol and other metal-based medical devices.
• Develop, optimize, and implement metals manufacturing processes to improve quality, repeatability, and manufacturability.
• Provide hands‑on technical support for troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing and process issues.
• Support process transfer, scale‑up, and transition toward commercial manufacturing.
• Analyze manufacturing and process data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and cross‑functional teams to support NPD objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and product manufacturability.
