Job Title: Nike Partnership Coordinator Department: Business Advancement | Strategic General Administration Job Description The Nike Partnership Coordinator plays a pivotal role in creating and executing brand activation strategies, ensuring seamless implementation of campaigns, events, and initiatives that embody Nike’s values and elevate its brand presence within The Ohio State University community. This individual will collaborate closely with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to create dynamic experiences that resonate with university goals and align with Nike’s brand identity. This role will report to the Manager, Affinity, within the Brand Engagement Services & Partnerships unit in Business Advancement. The individual will partner with the Manager, Director, unit and departmental colleagues, and campus-wide stakeholders to lead, coordinate and move strategic programs forward. The highly organized and collaborative teammate will lead the student assistant program, creating an impactful work experience focused on professional development for each cohort. This role will be accountable for delivering measurable brand engagement results, including increasing Nike student program participation, event attendance, and Brand Partnership Impact Study scores.

Key job responsibilities: Manage end-to-end planning and delivery of Nike-branded events, activations, and experiential marketing programs, ensuring impactful consumer experiences and brand alignment. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful collaboration and execution. Provide comprehensive support for Nike and agency partners by managing external tasks critical to partnership and program success, including product ordering, contract-based allotment management, inventory record keeping, and provide additional assistance where needed and requested. Manage campus activations by coordinating communications with campus stakeholders before and after activations, overseeing approval processes, facilitating space reservations and payment, and ensuring seamless execution of all logistical elements for participant safety and experience. Lead and supervise the student assistant program by overseeing hiring, onboarding, professional development, weekly meeting facilitation, timekeeping approval, and the delegation of assignments to ensure efficiency and growth for both the students and program. Contribute to the development of creative concepts for activations, ensuring they reflect Nike’s innovative and forward-thinking brand while maintaining Ohio State brand standards. Identify opportunities for university engagement through Nike activations and the larger Nike partnership. Create annual partnership impact report, in collaboration with Nike and campus stakeholders. The report should recap events to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activations, capturing key metrics such as attendance, engagement, and ROI.

Minimum Education Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred. Preferred Qualifications Masters degree. Previous experience tracking, monitoring and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven success in sponsorship activation and engagement; experience leading complex, cross-functional projects; and Proven ability to engage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proficient in MS Office skills and Adobe Creative Suite.
