Job summary

Castelion is seeking a nightshift R&D supervisor to lead a team of up to 30 technicians across multiple disciplines in support of the Blackbeard program, ensuring on-time delivery of 2026 flight deliverables.

You will hire and develop talent, supervise daily shop floor activity, manage training per skills matrix, and drive continuous process improvement in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years in a supervisory or lead technician role.
• Intimate knowledge of MES software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the majority of nightshift technicians across multiple disciplines at Castelion.
• Hire and develop a team of technicians in support of Castelion LRIP production goals.
• Supervise shop floor activity, including daily schedules and work flow.
• Lead and manage a staff of up to 30 technicians, including performance management.
• Ensure all required skillsets are adequately sourced on the R&D team.
• Maintain tooling and consumable inventory
• Identify and develop training as required from the skills matrix
• Track and execute on deliverables out of the R&D shop.
• Continuous process improvement.
