Job summary

Castelion is seeking a Night Shift CVD Operations Technician to support development of hypersonic flight thermal protection system materials. You will work closely with engineering teams to prepare reactors, monitor processes, and maintain safe, reliable operation of reactor equipment.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established procedures with minimal supervision, on a night shift schedule in a production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical certificate or associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or industrial environments.
• Willing to work a night shift in a production setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Support overnight operation and monitoring of CVD reactors.
• Clean, inspect, and prepare reactors for production runs.
• Follow standard operating procedures and document process data.
• Assist with routine equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize process operations.
