Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalency
• Nursing Assistant program completed or senior in high school
• Current BLS provider
• Excellent verbal and written skills

Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient care under RN or LPN direction
• Provide basic care and follow hospital policies
• Record food and fluid intake and output
• Take vital signs as assigned
• Perform basic hygiene, bed baths, and dressing
• Assist with feeding and nutritional needs
• Perform Foley care and urine specimen collection
• Shave, oral hygiene, and a bed bible care tasks
• Provide post-operative care and document observations
