Job summary

Community Concierge Services in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Area Operations Manager to own end-to-end doorstep trash collection across the market. You will lead new community rollouts, build and develop your team, and partner with property managers while working alongside your crew in the field.

This role blends white-collar leadership with blue-collar grit: you will manage schedules, payroll, and client relationships by day, and lead from the front at night.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of driving experience with a clean record.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work outdoors and walk several miles per shift.
• Experience managing field operations and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead nightly operations across multiple properties with on-time execution.
• Hire, train, and coach porters to CCS service standards.
• Conduct on-site quality audits and performance checks.
• Build relationships with property managers and clients.
• Manage schedules and route coverage with no missed pickups.
• Oversee logistics: safety gear, reporting apps, and payroll.
• Respond to on-site issues like equipment failures or staffing gaps.
• Maintain nightly reporting, payroll records, and compliance.
• Support new community onboarding and resident orientations.
