Job summary

Big Night Entertainment Group in Boston is seeking a Security Officer to help ensure guest and staff safety in a fast-paced nightlife venue. You will greet guests, verify IDs, and monitor for adherence to dress code and alcohol guidelines.

This role requires at least 1 year of security experience, the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and a neat, professional appearance. You must be able to de-escalate situations and stay on your feet for long periods.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year previous security experience required.
• Experience in a high-volume, upscale food and beverage environment and/or nightclub preferred.
• Must be able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide fast, friendly service.
• Accurately check guest identification.
• Enforce dress code procedures.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed.
• Promote Big Night Entertainment Group professionally.
• Handle situations quickly, efficiently, and safely.
• Ensure safety of guests and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
