Job summary

Aspiranet in Salinas, CA is seeking a Youth Specialist for a full-time, six-month temp position on-site. You will provide care, supervision, and case management to youth, support family stability, and help implement service and safety plans.

Responsibilities include youth screenings, administering medications as needed, maintaining documentation, coordinating with center staff, and ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with two years’ experience working with children/youth in a similar service.
• Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance required.
• TB/Health physical required.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and proof of insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Youth Support: Supervise youth, coordinate with Center team to implement service plan, identify needs for additional services, complete intake and discharge, administer medication per standards, assist with personal/hygiene care.
• Documentation & Compliance: Complete all required documentation in the database within timelines; document youth behaviors and incidents; maintain confidentiality.
• Collaboration & Professional Development: Attend team and all-staff meetings; participate in trainings and supervision; maintain CPR/First Aid certification and professional boundaries.
