Aspiranet seeks a Youth Specialist in Antioch, CA to provide care and supervision for youth at the Receiving Center, perform screenings, implement service and safety plans, and coordinate with nurses and county social workers. The role emphasizes documenting, transporting youth, and maintaining the center site.

Requirements include a BA/BS in social work or related field or 2 years of relevant experience, state clearances, TB health physical, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in social work, psychology or related field with 1 year experience in a child welfare or behavioral health field with children with complex trauma and resultant challenging behaviors.
• Must meet all state-required conditions of employment, including fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health physical, and valid driver’s license with clean driving record and proof of insurance.

Responsabilités

• Develop a professional and supportive relationship with youth and serve as a liaison with the nurse and social workers.
• Report all incidents and concerns to supervisor and attend required meetings, trainings, and maintain the center site.
• Complete all required documentation in the database within established timelines and maintain organized family/files materials.
