Qualifications

• Ability to discern numbers and information in order to sort packages correctly.
• Experience with yard switching or package handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs trailer switches moving parked trailers from yard to doors and vice versa.
• Coordinates trailer movements with management or central control.
• Documents trailer moves via Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Loads and unloads packages onto delivery vehicles, trailers, and carts.
• Maintains safety procedures and works in a fast-paced team environment.
