Qualifications

• Comfort using skate wheel rollers, dock carts, hand-held scanners, chutes, and unloading devices.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a fast-paced yard.

Responsibilities

• Hoists and moves trailers between yard, doors, and yard areas (trailer switches).
• Coordinate trailer movements with management or central control.
• Document trailer moves in Yard Management System or with switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Follow safety procedures for yard switching operations.
