Zusammenfassung

Staffmark Group in Dimondale, MI is seeking a Yard Hostler Non-CDL to join our overnight operations. You will move, stage, and position trailers, back into docks, and support daily distribution workflows.

The role requires at least 6 months of yard hostling or yard jockey experience and the ability to operate a yard goat safely; CDL is not required.

Pay is $25.00–$27.00 per hour with a 12:00 AM–8:00 AM shift and occasional weekend scheduling; weekly pay is provided.

Qualifikationen

6+ months yard hostling or yard jockey experience within the past 3 years.
Experience operating a yard goat or similar yard tractor.
Strong trailer maneuvering and backing skills in a transportation or warehouse environment.
Reliable attendance with ability to work flexible overnight schedules.

Aufgaben

Operate a yard goat to move, stage, and position trailers throughout the yard.
Maneuver trailers between dock doors, staging areas, and parking locations.
Perform blindside backing and safely park trailers in designated areas.
Hook and unhook trailers to support daily operations.
Complete routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
Follow all yard safety procedures and maintain efficient trailer movement.
Communicate with yard personnel and operations teams to support workflow.
