Job summary

SOUTHERN CHAMPION TRAY LLC is seeking a Window Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (5 days, 8 hours) in Chattanooga, TN. You will set up and operate the window machine, monitor quality, and log production data daily.

The role requires basic computer skills, reading and understanding English, and a high school diploma or GED. Prior folding carton experience is a plus, with attention to safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Education/experience: High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience or training or equivalent.
• Must read and understand documents, and write legibly in English.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and understand measurements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate window machine to meet quality and speed standards.
• Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain safety, quality, and production.
• Check the prior shift's report at shift start and log production data.
• Stack and align blanks to ensure uniform stacking and windowing.
• Troubleshoot and assist in machine maintenance; clean and maintain the work area.
