ART Transit in Asheville is seeking a Customer Service Representative for nights and weekends. You will be the primary contact between passengers, operators, and transit staff, providing route and schedule information and assisting with trip planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist passengers in person and by phone.
• Provide accurate route, schedule, fares, transfers information.
• Assist with trip planning and fare purchases.
• Document and respond to customer concerns and service requests.
• Communicate service disruptions and detours clearly to customers.
• Maintain records of customer interactions and service requests.
