The Salvation Army Cascade Division is seeking a Shelter Advocate for the graveyard shift with weekends at our West Women’s and Children's shelter. This non-exempt, full-time role emphasizes safety, crisis support, and meeting basic needs in a secure, supportive environment.

Hourly wage ranges from $24.00 to $24.75 DOE, with 40 hours per week. Responsibilities include front desk duties, confidentiality, and coordination with emergency services when needed.

Responsibilities

• Client Interaction & Support: Interact directly with domestic violence survivors and their children living in shelter; maintain confidentiality and use a strength-based approach.
• Front Desk & Administrative Duties: Answer multi-line phones, route inquiries, log incidents, process donations and fees.
• Safety & Security: Stay alert, respond to crises, operate safety systems, conduct facility inspections, coordinate with staff for security and fire watches.
