Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a part-time Shelter Aide to support overnight clients in residence. This role involves assisting with daily needs, meals, and maintaining a clean shelter environment while ensuring residents follow policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist shelter clients with daily needs while in residence.
• Assist with meal preparation, serving, and clean-up.
• Keep shelter area clean and orderly.
• Ensure residents follow shelter policies and procedures.
• Arrange transportation for medical care when needed.
• Refer clients to social services to support discharge from the shelter.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
