Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Store Associate at our Wichita Greenwhich location to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will engage customers in Rewards and private label programs and support in-store merchandising and backroom tasks.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to stand for long periods while helping maintain an inviting, well-stocked store environment.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
