Hy-Vee Urbandale is seeking a Meat Clerk to provide friendly service in the Meat/Seafood Department. You will wrap, weigh, trim, stock, and label retail cuts, assist customers, and maintain quality displays.

This part-time role requires the ability to stand long hours, lift up to 85 pounds occasionally, and work evenings and weekends. You will follow sanitation guidelines and collaborate with the team to ensure a clean, safe shopping environment.

Formación

• High School or equivalent required; six months or less related experience.
• Food safety training preferred.
• Ability to follow written/verbal instructions and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service to shoppers.
• Wraps, weighs, and labels products; stocks cases.
• Assists customers by guiding them to products and retrieving items.
• Maintain sanitation and neat, organized work area.
• Prepare seafood for display and ensure case freshness.
• Report out-of-stock products to appropriate personnel.
