Job summary

Hy-Vee's Hy-Chi Department Clerk helps deliver friendly, efficient service at the Hy-Chi counter. You will take orders, prepare and replenish products, ensure freshness, and keep the workspace clean and organized across shifts.

This hourly role emphasizes customer service, attention to detail, basic math, and teamwork in a fast-paced store environment. Training is provided with starting pay of $11.50–$14.40 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take Hy-Chi orders at the counter.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish Hy-Chi products as needed.

• Operate the department register and handle transactions.
• Follow sanitation and safety guidelines at all times.
• Assist with other tasks or special projects as needed.
