You will greet customers with a smile, maintain hygiene, and perform tasks as assigned to ensure smooth service. Prior kitchen or dishwashing experience is preferred, but enthusiasm and reliability are valued.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; six months or less related work experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and provide good customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile.
• Wash department equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, and pans thoroughly and consistently.
• Handle food safely and ensure the work area is clean and neat.
• Remove trash in a timely manner and take department garbage to the compactor or designated area.
• Answer the telephone promptly and provide friendly, helpful service to customers who call.
• Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed and take on special projects as assigned.
• Maintain strict adherence to personal hygiene, dress standards, and all Hy-Vee policies and store guidelines.
• Report to work when scheduled and on time.
