Hy-Vee, Inc. is seeking a Dishroom Clerk for the Market Grille department. The role involves keeping dishes, utensils, and cookware spotless and supporting a clean, safe kitchen environment. Night and weekend shifts are required to meet store needs.

You will provide friendly customer service, assist teammates, and help with additional store tasks as assigned. A positive attitude and reliability are essential to thrive on our team.

Qualifications

• No education requirement; six months or less of similar or related work experience preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work through tasks with concrete variables.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and record figures accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers with a smile.
• Wash department equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, and pans thoroughly and consistently.
• Handle food safely and keep the work area clean and neat.
• Remove trash and take department garbage to the designated area.
• Answer the telephone promptly and provide friendly service to callers.
• Work with coworkers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed and take on special projects.
• Maintain personal hygiene, dress standards, and store policies.
• Report to work on time as scheduled.
